By accessing and using Emote Resizer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Emote Resizer is a free, browser-based tool that resizes and compresses images for use as emotes, emoji, and badges on streaming platforms including Twitch, Discord, Kick, and YouTube. Static image processing occurs entirely in your browser. Animated GIF processing may use our server.

3. Free to Use

The Service is provided free of charge. There are no premium tiers, subscriptions, or hidden fees. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

4. Your Content

  • Ownership: You retain all rights to the images you upload. We claim no ownership over your content.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use, modify, and distribute the images you upload. Do not upload copyrighted content without proper authorization.
  • No storage: Static images are processed locally and never leave your device. GIF files are temporarily processed on our server and immediately deleted.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
  • Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the Service.
  • Use automated scripts to mass-process images without our consent.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit any part of the Service.

6. Platform Compliance

While we output images that meet each platform's published specifications (Twitch 112×112/56×56/28×28, Discord 128×128 < 256KB, Kick 500×500, YouTube 48×48), we cannot guarantee acceptance by any third-party platform. Platform requirements may change without notice. Please always verify your uploads against each platform's current guidelines.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • Output images will be accepted by any third-party platform.
  • Image quality will meet your subjective expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emote Resizer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or platform account issues.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
